Comfort indicator module

I have added something new to my whislist, a comfort indicator module.
This module will add an extra function to your indicator lights. With this module you can press the indicator handle only once and the indicator light will blink 3 times. This function is very common on expensive cars but I think it would be great to have on my CityBug.

Jan, a very well know poster on the Dutch CityBug Forum already installed this comfort indicator module in his Aygo. He posted the wiring of the module on the forum, see this topic. He also made a small video, click on the image to watch the video.

How to wire up a comfort indicator module?
Use cableset 2, 5 wires, delivered with the module.
The jumpers on the comfort indicator module have to be set in position B, all left.
To connect the comfort indicator module take the wires of rev counter, see picture below and the wires of the indicator handle.

The connection of the 5 wires of the indicator module
• connect the black wire to the brown wire of the rev counter
• connect the red wire to the red wire of the rev counter
• connect the green wire to the green wire of the indicator handle
• connect the yellow wire to the black wire of the indicator handle
• connect the orange wire to the yellow wire of the indicator handle

Thanks Jan for working this out!!

What's the purpose of the wires connecting to the rev counter? Power?
